Hire The Best Daycare Teacher

Hire The Best Daycare Teacher

Good daycare help CAN be hard to find but it doesn't have to be hard to find for your daycare.

Here 5 good places to find (and hire) new daycare teacher or helper!

#1. Retired Teacher's Association.

You'd be surprised to at the number of teachers who would love to supplement their retirement income by working part time.

Contact your local Retired Teacher's Association (every city/county has one) and post a flyer advertising daycare job openings.

#2. Local Community College.

Students, particularly college students are always looking for jobs to supplement financial aid.  Create a daycare job flyer and post it on the ECE (Early Childhood Education) student bulletin board.

#3. Word of mouth in your local neighborhood.

In the age of digital marketing and advertising, neighborhood flyers still work.

Everybody knows somebody and your neighbors are no exception.

Create a flyer/postcard advertising daycare job openings, highlight job perks (ex: competitive pay, split schedule, paid vacation, etc) include your contact information, and place flyers in your neighbor's mailbox 2-3 blocks around your house.

#4. Care.com

Post a daycare job listing on care.com and start receiving applications from interested applications in your area.

#5. School district flyers and mailers.

Many school districts allow licensed daycare providers to advertise open daycare spots and daycare job listings to the community through weekly school flyers sent home each week.

To advertise open job listings, contact your local school district for more information.

Find good daycare teachers by advertising through your local retired teacher's association, community college, and through word of mouth in your local neighborhood.
